The family took a three and a half hour drive between Saint Louis and Sainte Genevieve MO and back. It was a beautiful sunny day around 70 degF. I had the Radalert turned on in the SUV and set to track cumulative radiation for the trip. The trip averaged an exposure of 0.0109 mR/hr. That is a good background reading.
On another front, I emailed Michael Collins of EnviroReporter.com and asked him if he would take some rain readings in California using the same methodology I used in my video. He quickly emailed me back that he had done so and his readings were normal.
