Saint Louis Bugout: 2x Radioactivity in Barlow, Kentucky Rain
After our "Maximum Alert" based on a recent Barium-140 detection and increased Jet Stream radioactivity detected by the Radiation Network, we decided to take advantage of the Memorial Day weekend and drive 9 hours southeast to Rock City to get out of the Jet Stream.
On the return trip bugging back into Saint Louis, we rain into one quick rain storm just outside of Barlow, Ky. A quick sample swipe returned a reading of 2x background radiation, a value which we consider to be in the Pre-Fukushima range.
