No Jetstream, And Still 20X Background Radiation In 8:15 pm Storm
We took a paper towel swipe from hood of our truck at 8:15pm on 5/20/12 during the tail end of a partial solar eclipse which was obscured by a storm that had just passed through the area. That sample returned a reading of 20 times greater than background radiation. The reading is unusually high given that the jet stream is currently over Canada, many miles north of Saint Louis.
