The POTRBLOG team spent $1,100 dollars to have US ground beef tested by professional labs for radioactive contamination from Plutonium, Strontium, and Gamma producing radionuclides. The ground beef samples tested were from a grass fed cow which went to the butcher in July of 2011; the radioactive testing occurred during the first week of May 2012.
The ground beef sample returned readings showing that the cow had ingested radioactive fallout. The sample also had readings which point to a recent nuclear fission and control rod fire occurring within the last few weeks. The results of that testing are presented in the video below.
As it stands now, we still have available PRE-Fukushima all natural, grass fed beef, and pasture raised pork for testing. We know exactly how, where and by whom the beef, and pork were humanely raised. We also have access to fresh beef, pork, and chicken raised under the same conditions.
Our goal is to independently and accurately determine what the true risk the populace faces from Fukushima fallout contaminating the food supply. We also believe we will be able to identify specific farm conditions that will allow you to pick food sources which have the lowest reasonable contamination risk. I don't see a video.

DeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the efforts and explanation. It does not go unnoticed in Korea.
Until three weeks ago, we were running HEPA filters regularly. After making a call to the air filter company, we found out that for the HEPA filter
1. The material is sourced in the Philippines
2. The filter is manufactured in Japan and then sent to Korea sold under the C****Y brand. *the company told us the the material is imported into Osaka and then manufactured locally.
We stopped using the filters upon hearing this info. (we have a 2 and 4 year old).
Now I am considering to reuse the filters temporarily until I following your reports.
The filters are replaced every two months.
What are your thoughts on the filters?
@iwunder007, we would run a vacuum cleaner over the filter before first use (or turn the filter on outside for a few minutes). Following those precautions, our SWAG is that any remaining inherent contamination is trapped in the filter and that the filter will remove more contamination from the environment than it would introduce into it.
ReplyDeleteThe one exception to that would be if we ran a Geiger counter over the new/unused filter and it registered noticeably radioactive. In such a case, would look for the another filter with a lower reading and proceed as mentioned above.
Thanks,
ReplyDeleteLast past using an Inspector over the filter indicated nothing to worry about. We will proceed following your advice. Truthfully, I want to throw up.
Koreans are able to purchase Australian beef is desired.
Has your team any info on the current radioactive status of Aussie beef?
Can you get it in the States?
We think that key will likely be knowing the source conditions under which the beef was raised, so it would be hard to generalized which source continent would be better (costs aside). There have been some very troubling high levels of airborne detections in Australia.
